Req. Marius in College-Clothed

An art request done for ~Marius. I greatly enjoyed drawing his character and I would recommend to check him out.

This was a rather hefty drawing as I included three different versions of the same image, one Nude SFW, one with Lingerie, and one Clothed. I like the way that   fluff-kevlar does multiple versions of the same drawing, so I am eager to learn to do something similar.

I wanted to push myself a bit with the backgrounds, lighting, shading, and generally the figure but especially the facial expression.
Surprisingly, the most difficult part was the background and it wasn't for a while until I realized that having a "less detailed" distant background would be better if I wanted the maintain focus on the character.

This drawing took me a bit longer to do as I ran into a couple of hiccups along the way but mostly having to do problems with the PaintToolSai program and doing multiple linearts / drawings.
Basically, until Sai 2 is released, I was running into memory issues due to the canvas size, shading layers, and the amount of layers in general. So maybe a transition to Manga Studio in the long run is for the best.

Anyway, I took a HUGE amount of inspiration and help from   Koul or 2078 as the way she does artwork has been a great influence on me and my art, but especially my backgrounds and shading. I would HIGHLY suggest to check her art out.
