Hello,

I have achieved 500 followers on twitter/X. Thank you to all who participated.

The Request Form is now CLOSED.

Thank you to all who submitted. I will be working on them all in the days to come

I will do my best to capture your character, however, I have a few simple rules:

  1. You cannot request art from me if you are under 18. By submitting your request you agree and confirm that you are 18+ years old.

  2. Understand my drawing preferences: I would prefer to draw artistic nudity, for sake of time, but am alright with simple outfits (bikinis, swimsuits, underwear, tribal, form fitting clothing, 1-5 articles of clothing, etc.), SFW nudity (no visible bits), or convenient censoring.

  3. I cannot guarantee that I will draw every character submitted and is ultimately up to my discretion.

I decide who is chosen from a wheel-of-names raffle. I usually try to draw around 4-6 per batch. Anyone not chosen is carried over to the next batch.

I will post a link on my various social sites (FA, DA, twitter/X, Bluesky) prior to the stream, usually around 5-6pm PST due to work/gym obligations.

You can watch the stream in progress at: https://www.picarto.tv/Evangellos

Be sure to review my drawing preferences before requesting:

Hey there,

I am close to 500 followers on Twitter/X and to celebrate that milestone I would like to open again for the Request Freebies like I offered previously last year.

Examples from last year (NSFW Links) and also an idea of what I like to draw:

Request Sketch Stream X

Request Sketch Stream IX

Request Sketch Stream VIII

Request Sketch Stream VII

Request Sketch Stream VI

Request Sketch Stream V

Request Sketch Stream IV

Request Sketch Stream III

Request Sketch Stream II

Request Sketch Stream I

All you have to do is follow me on twitter and once I have 500 followers on Twitter/X, I'll create a google form that anyone can fill out on what they would like me to draw, either a popular character, another's character (with their permission, of course), or your own personal oc!

I'll post it publicly on my primary sites: FA, DA, X, Bluesky and choose from a Wheel-of-Names raffle. I try to pick around 6-8 people per batch and may do several batches to cover as many people as I can. I will also likely stream the request freebies on my picarto: https://www.picarto.tv/Evangellos

Here is my Twitter/X: https://twitter.com/Evangellos1279

Also, consider following me on my Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/evangellos.bsky.social

I'll keep it short, but this is likely going to be a very busy year in my profession and I probably won't have a lot of time to do any large projects or fully-rendered scenes. Most of the artwork is likely going to be "work in progresses" and posted to my scraps.

It's just the way it is, sadly, but it might be a good opportunity to do some quicker pieces and speed up my work flow.

Thank you to everyone who watches, favorites, and especially posts comments on my art. I love to read them and get feedback / critiques.

TL;DR - Having an existential crisis from a pulmonary embolism.

I was hoping to post some emotional artwork explaining this, but I've been so caught up in professional work responsibilities that I haven't had time to work on any artwork since my accident.

As the title says, on August 12, 2020 @ approx. 9:00 pm I checked myself into the Emergency Room due to severe chest pain along my rib-cage, collar, and upper-back as well as pain emanating from my calf. I thought I was suffering from a collapsed lung and pulled-hamstring from a arduous hike the weekend prior where I was hiking with friends in the desert at a dilapidated cement factory.

Turns out after an x-ray, ct scan, and ultrasound I was in fact suffering from DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) in my calf and a Pulmonary Embolism in all of my lungs but particularly my left lung.

DVT: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases.....s/syc-20352557

Pulmonary Embolism: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases.....s/syc-20354647

I was transferred to a larger facility by ambulance early next morning and spent 1.5 days to be more closely monitored and to be administered Heparin, a blood-thinning medicine, by IV. What came next was a rather grueling experience of frequent blood-tests, the inhalation of a vile vapor to clear my lungs, and experiencing bruising from the blood-thinning medication.

I am sure that the experience in comparison to other medical emergencies doesn't seem so bad, but being my first adult ER experience it was fairly traumatic and has effected me greatly.

As a result of this, I'll need to be on blood thinners like Eliquis for about 6 months, taking occasional blood tests and spending $100 (after insurance) on continued medication; in addition to being more physically fit.

I just wanted to fill you all in on this because since the ER I haven't had time to really focus on artwork due to professional responsibilities with my career and my transition to full-time distance (online) work. I am fortunate and thankful that I work in an essential profession during this Covid-19 ordeal, however, that also means that my profession takes precedence over my artwork especially since artwork rarely measures up to be a long-term sustainable profession especially in comparison to my current situation.

So basically, for the next month or so, until I become more familiar with my online work, artwork is drastically going to be reduced.

The point I'm trying to make, is the Pulmonary Embolism and DVT has really effected my life to a great degree and I'm not sure if I'll heal from this and even if I did, I'm not sure if I would return to doing art like I have been doing.

There's two possible routes I see myself going. Either I spend much less time on art in general and refocus that time on something else, like improving my social-skills, or if I do return, finally start working on that fantasy comic because life and time is far too precious to take lightly and I'm not sure what the future holds for me health-wise as I overcome this pulmonary embolism ordeal.

I think that's about all I have to say on this...

Minor update:

There's a lot more venting I posted on my FA page, but needless to say, I don't have as much passion for art or staying with the community as I did before the ER. I really need to think about what I'm doing with my life and how I'm spending my time.

It's sad because I really want to design this anthro fantasy story, but I also need to think if it's really something worth doing?

I'm not making money from my art and I'm not gaining any sort of passive capital from it. I'm just drawing for myself, but am I really accomplishing anything worthwhile with my artwork? So far the answer has been NO... It's not like my artwork is helping me meet people or raise a family.

Artwork is just something to sink time into but am I really improving myself as a human being or am I just finding an escape from reality and putting things on an indefinite hold?

I also feel like artwork may have contributed to my pulmonary embolism by encouraging a more sedentary lifestyle. I'm afraid of jumping back into it and running into health problems again. I do, however, miss drawing and developing my characters.

So, my thoughts are all over the place and I'm trying to make sense of it all.
